Over the past few years, a small group of people in Hermanus have hosted various small-scale events for the LGBTQ+ community. Our informal Pride walk last year had such an amazing response – with people from near and far joining in – that we decided it was time to create a bigger and better event.
We’ve been planning it for a while, and now we’re excited to announce that Hermanus Pride Party is taking place on 16th November. During the Pride Party the new date for the Hermanus Pride Walk will be announced.
We hope to see you there. It’s Pride, so of course everyone is welcome.

We’ll walk through town, stopping at a few places to enjoy the vibe..

It enables LGBT+ people to be visible and vocal about the progress we have made and the work still to be done.
